How far can she go as a video artist and how far can you take it as a viewer?
Always been creative as a child, passionate about art, a devotion given by her dad. After 8 years of art school, Malika graduated with a Bachelor in Fine Arts and Digital video producer in Brussels Belgium.
Her work progressed from paintings to installation art. She committed herself to experimental video/performance art and found her true passion in creating/mixing live visuals. Inspired by the power of music, which gives her the constant energy to keep going.
Her work is described as freaky and mentally disturbing. Characterisation by chaos and reappearance where she puts the focus on the people & subjects she films. She often uses her own face and body as a tool for her performance videos. After she finds the postproduction & mixing of the footage live the most essential.
